What the hell is that!?!? .. I must admit, I’d never really heard of the genre and I'm almost embarrassed to say I wasn’t sure what it was.. but as I dug into it I found out I was very familiar without even knowing it. My guess is you are too.. It turns out that I loved so much of this “ Brill Building Sound” that I decided to look up what a “brill building” was and then my mind exploded!

Today's episode focuses on a controversial person who has somewhat recently passed away. It’s interesting, I had been planning to do this episode well before he passed away so the timing of this just seems fitting, but instead of beating around the bush i'll just cut straight to the chase here, its Phil Spector. Now before you start getting your shorts in a wad, I would like to point out that we will be focusing on his contributions to music, and not putting the man on a pedestal and praising him.
