EPISODE 6: Never To Be Forgotten

Eddie Cochran is our subject today..
Eddie Cochran is a paramount figure of rock and roll...He was basically Chuck Berry and Elvis rolled into one person. He was the original "rocker" .. like mods vs rockers? yeah Eddie was who all those rocker kids aspired to be.. He could sing, he could play guitar, he was good looking. this kid really had it all going on. He was experimental with recording techniques, being one of the first to mess with multi-track recording and overdubbing..He even was one of the first to mix distortion into his sounds.
Legend.

EPISODE 5: Anarchy Tour

The notorious and ill-fated Anarchy Tour is our subject today.
This tour was planned as the very first "Punk Rock" touring show which featured an all star line up. Sex Pistols, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, The Damned, and The Clash.

This story even features Malcom Mclaren.

If none of the band names ring a bell for you, just know that it is one hell of a line up... But also know that with this line up, its not surprising that the story gets pretty messy..

How messy you may ask? ?

Filthy and Furiously Messy.

...and for all those punk rock historian nerds out there, i know how seriously you take this subject, so listen in and tell me if i got any facts wrong. I will correct any errors. OR WILL I!?
...guess you'll have to tune in to fine out!

EPISODE 4: Sister Not Mister

Today's episodes focus is on
Sister Rosetta Tharpe:
The God Mother of Rock N Roll.

If you haven't heard of her, don't feel bad! She was practically written out of History Books.
Here on Rock and Roll History, our intent is to set the record straight.
I hope today's episode helps shine a light on this important figure of Rock and Roll.
